A budget that fills itself in.
Connect your bank and cards, and every purchase and paycheck comes in on its own, sorted by category. Set a budget for the year, and the number at the bottom is the one that matters: how much you kept.

- Dining26%
- Home20%
- Gym6%
- Other10%
No typing in receipts.
Spending and income come in from your bank and cards, already sorted into categories. No bank to connect? Bring a CSV from anywhere, or type it in.
- Purchases and paychecks pulled in from your bank and cards
- Sorted by category, yours to change
- Or import a CSV, or add it by hand
Start with a savings target, not seventeen categories.
Nobody budgets every category before they've spent a dollar. Tell WinLife how much of your pay you want to keep, as a percent or a dollar amount, and set category budgets later once real spending shows you where the money goes.
Payday to payday.
A month's pay is the paychecks that actually landed in it, so a three-paycheck month looks like one. Each year keeps its own budget, copied forward when the new year starts.
- A budget per year, per category
- Months counted by real paydays
- Income split by where it came from
What you kept.
Every month ends with what you saved, in dollars and as a percent of what you earned. Paying a friend back counts as settling up, not spending, so trips you fronted don't wreck the month.
Asked and answered.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You can import a CSV or add spending by hand. Connecting just does it for you.
Can WinLife move my money?
No. Bank connections are read-only through Plaid. WinLife can see transactions, never make a payment.
Does it track net worth too?
Yes. The same app charts your net worth over time against a target you set.
