Terms of Service

Effective October 30, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and WinLife LLC, a Pennsylvania company (“we”), for using WinLife, the private, invite-only dashboard at winlife.ai and app.winlife.ai. By using WinLife you agree to them; if you don’t, please don’t use it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

Please read “Disputes and arbitration” below. It says disputes are settled by individual arbitration or in small claims court instead of a jury trial or class action. You can opt out within 30 days.

Who can use WinLife

  • WinLife is invite-only: you need an invite link from a member, or from us, to create an account.
  • You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
  • Connect only bank accounts and calendars that are yours or that you’re allowed to use.

Your account

  • You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. Two-factor sign-in is recommended, and it’s required to connect a bank.
  • You’re responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, tell us right away.
  • Invite only people you know. Each invite is recorded with who sent it.

Your data is yours

You own everything you put in WinLife. You give us permission to store, process, and show it only to run WinLife for you, including sending the parts the assistant needs to our AI provider when you use it, as the Privacy Policy describes. A memory you share with another member is visible to them until you untag or unlink them. You can ask for a copy of your data, or delete it, at any time.

Not financial advice

WinLife organizes your own numbers: balances, budgets, net worth, projections, and the like. It isn’t a bank, broker, or adviser, and nothing in it is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Projections are estimates based on what you enter and can be wrong, and bank data and market prices can be late or incomplete. Check important numbers with your bank or a professional before you act on them.

The AI assistant

The assistant can misunderstand you or make mistakes. Check what it adds or changes: new entries can be undone right away, and everything it saves is marked in your activity log. Each member has a daily limit, and we may change the limit or turn the assistant off for a member.

Connected services

Bank connections go through Plaid, Google Calendar through Google, and the assistant through Anthropic. Their own terms apply to their services, and we aren’t responsible for their outages or changes. WinLife can only read your banks and calendars: it can’t move money or add, change, or delete events. You can disconnect either at any time.

Fair use

Please don’t:

  • use WinLife to break the law or to harm anyone;
  • try to reach another member’s data, or get around sign-in, two-factor, or limits;
  • probe, scan, overload, or reverse-engineer the service (if you find a security problem, please email us instead);
  • upload anything illegal, or anything you don’t have the right to share;
  • sell, rent, or trade access or invites.

What you share with others

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. That includes harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, and anything illegal. You can report anything another member shares, or block them, from “Report or block” beside it. We review every report within 24 hours, and we may remove the content and close the account of whoever posted it.

Price

WinLife is free for invited members. If we ever charge for it, we’ll tell you well ahead of time, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Changes and availability

WinLife is a small, personal project that keeps evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and it may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever shut it down, we’ll try to give at least 30 days’ notice so you can ask for a copy of your data.

Ending your account

You can stop using WinLife and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other members or the service at risk; when we can, we’ll tell you first and let you get a copy of your data.

Disclaimers

WinLife is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t promise that WinLife will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its data is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, money, or data, arising from your use of WinLife, including decisions you make based on it. Our total liability for any claim about WinLife is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Disputes and arbitration

  • Talk to us first. If you have a problem with WinLife, email us at toby@winlife.ai with what happened and what you’d like us to do. We’ll both try in good faith to sort it out within 60 days before either of us starts a case.
  • Individual arbitration. If we can’t, you and we agree that any dispute about WinLife or these terms will be settled by binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. An arbitrator, not a judge or jury, decides it, and can give you the same individual relief a court could. A hearing, if there is one, happens by video or in the county where you live. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.
  • Small claims and urgent cases. Either of us can instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either of us can also ask a court to stop someone from misusing WinLife, its code, or another member’s account while a dispute is pending.
  • No class actions. Each of us can bring claims only on our own behalf, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative case, and an arbitrator can’t combine claims from different people unless everyone agrees. If a court decides this paragraph can’t be enforced for a particular claim, that claim goes to court, not to a class arbitration, and this section still applies to the rest.
  • Fees. The AAA’s Consumer Rules limit what you pay to file. For claims under $10,000, we’ll pay the rest of the filing, administration, and arbitrator fees, unless the arbitrator finds the claim was frivolous.
  • Many similar claims. If 25 or more similar claims are filed against us, or by us, by the same or coordinated lawyers, the AAA’s Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply, and the claims are handled in batches.
  • Opting out. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first agreeing to it by emailing toby@winlife.ai from your account’s email with the subject “Arbitration opt-out.” Opting out doesn’t change anything else about your account.
  • Time limit. To the extent the law allows, a claim must be brought within one year of when it arose.
  • This section keeps applying after your account is closed.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a material way, we’ll update the date above and ask you to agree in the app before you keep using WinLife. If we change “Disputes and arbitration,” you can reject that change within 30 days by emailing us, and the version you last agreed to keeps applying to you. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over running WinLife; if we do, we’ll tell you first, and you can close your account and take your data with you.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim that isn’t arbitrated goes to the state or federal courts in Pennsylvania, except small claims, which you can bring where you live. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about WinLife.
